April 15, 2009 - Lisa Bentley’s Subaru Ironman Muskoka 70.3 Success Camp on June 26th-28th still has a few spots available.  Come and learn everything there is to learn about racing your first, fastest and best 70.3 event.  Lisa Bentley will combine her 20 years of racing experience with David Cracknell’s 25 years in sport to share all things triathlon with athletes of all levels – from first timer to many timer.  In 2008, we saw 70 athletes emerge from our camp weekends and we had a 99% success rate at Subaru Ironman Muskoka 70.3 that September.  Athletes will learn how to train – technique tips, nutrition tips, mental strategies and injury prevention.  The camp is based at Deerhurst resort and includes Saturday night dinner and motivational talk and Sunday brunch.  Deerhurst is offering a new reduced rate of $149 per room per night for Success Camp participants.  Come enjoy a learning weekend in Muskoka.  Visit www.lisabentley.comfor details or emailsuccesscamp@hotmail.com.  Happy training.

For over 21 years Trisport Promotions has been host to over 250,000 triathletes and over 300 triathlons across Ontario. Trisport is taking their combined years of event experience to bring athletes one of the most highly anticipated triathlons in Ontario.  Lisa Bentley and Dave Cracknell have been actively involved in helping Trisport secure the rights to this event and have played an integral role in the course layout and design. Together with Mitch and Janet Fraser they are announcing the formation of Trisport North and the newly acquired Muskoka Ironman 70.3!  

Huntsville and the Township of Lake of Bays are thrilled to play host to this event . Together with the Subaru Muskoka Chase held in June, they will now hold title to the largest triathlon town in Canada and potentially be hosting over 3,000 + triathletes in one year!

Among Muskoka's scenic forests and waterways, and close to legendary Algonquin Park, are landscapes that inspired the Group of Seven, Canada's famous artists. Here, in the heart of Muskoka's majesty, you'll find Deerhurst Resort, acclaimed as "Canada's Best".
